Me Against the Berlin Wall

I have always loved building, assembling, and tinkering with various items since I was a small child; from building Gunplas to setting up the new smartphone my mother just purchased. Indeed, pursuing my engineering degree at the Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) was a conscious decision made with the desire to converge my formal education into meaningful products that improve the way people live. Even in my work today as an engineer, software or hardware, I strive to always consciously employ my design thinking and technical abilities to contribute in the creation of a better world by design.

Besides engineering and research, I love and pursue music, both as an emotional outlet as well as a creative output (through singing and playing the piano). I also enjoy reading books, mainly non-fiction novels and knowledge-based titles. I also enjoy travelling to different places around the world and experiencing the unique culture they each have to offer. I have been to the United States, Italy, Brazil, Hong Kong, and most recently, Germany. For every trip I embark on I always come back with a deeper appreciation of how all of us are uniquely human and consequently, amazing in our own unique way!
